There is a system called meridian points which consist of 365 traditional points plus a few hundred more points in human’s body.
There are 12 channels along with 12 organs.
Each channel is connected to each organ.
Once needle is inserted, it will stimulate the point that is corresponding to specific organ.
That’s how acupuncture works.
